Who we are?

IP First, a duly registered non-profit organization headquartered in Shanghai, is an integrated community on creativity, intellectual property and entrepreneurship in China, with reach across the globe.

IP First comprises of professionals, entrepreneurs, investors, thinkers, graduate students, and corporations from diversified areas that are concerned with the latest developments of creative economy, intellectual property, and Chinese entrepreneurship.

IP First provides an information channel and interactive platform for thought leaders, investors, professionals, and corporations over the globe to exchange their insights in the interplay of IP practices with emerging investment and business trends, and to stay on top of the facts-on-the-ground of IP dynamics within and outside China.

What will we do with your money?

By donating, you will enable us to hold regular events, run campaigns, provide information to the press, and lobby government. The more funding we have, the more campaigns we can run, and the more effective we can be. Specifically, your money could be put into the following areas:

How else can I get involved?

• Come to our events. Whether you are an experienced executive, government official, or a fan for creativity, IP or entrepreneurship, you are more than welcome to come and meet up with other people who share your passion.
• Volunteer. We are always looking out for talented technologists, researchers, consultants, investors and writers who wish to get involved with our mission. Please drop us a line if you think you might be able to help.
• Spread the word. Maybe you're a blogger, or maybe just a casual surfer. We ask that you take the time to read some of the information in our website and newsletters, subscribe to our magazine and keep your eyes and ears open for creativity, IP and entrepreneurship in your own environment.
